While nothing’s officially announced yet, Universal Music Japan has revealed that the singer is releasing an album called The Best, reportedly on February 27. The album, which has a title that seems to indicate it’s a greatest hits package, is seemingly being released to mark the 10th anniversary of Justin’s first single.
However, it’s possible that this will be a Japan-only release. Adding to the confusion, earlier this month, Justin’s manager Scooter Braun also tweeted, and then deleted, a message reading, “2019 is gonna be a wild one. I just feel it,” followed by “JB5!?!?”
At this point, it’s not clear if Justin’s fifth studio album will drop in 2019, or if by “JB5,” Scooter meant The Best. If it is a greatest hits collection, it may have some new tracks on it as well. Stay tuned.
