ABC/Paula LoboLeona Lewis gave Fifth Harmony’s Dinah Jane the best Christmas gift ever — by duetting with her on a new Christmas medley.

Dinah, who has been a fan of Leona’s since she was a child, posted about what the experience means to her. In a series of tweets, Dinah explains that the first ever cover she ever posted to YouTube was of her singing Leona’s song “Yesterday.”

“What a humbling experience this is for me I tell you,” she writes. “I’m so grateful for those of you who have followed me throughout my journey & to those who made this dream collab come to life!”

She adds, “This is the best Christmas gift I’ve ever received!”

Leona also tweeted a video of the collab, writing, “I’m soo excited to share this with you guys! [Dinah Jane] and I wanted to do something special for all of you this Christmas. You’re the reason we get to do what we love and we put our hearts into recording this song. Merry Christmas, we love you guys.”

The medley includes original verses written by Leona and Dinah, along with standards like “Silent Night” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”

Leona and Dinah were both discovered on The X Factor, although on different seasons and in different countries.
