ABC/Ida Mae AstuteIf you’re a bit tired of hearing “Shape of You” all the time, imagine how Ed Sheeran must feel. It’s no wonder he’s ready to move on to a new single from his hit album, ÷ (Divide).

Ed’s new single, the third to be released from the album, is “Perfect,” which was inspired by his longtime girlfriend, Cherry Seaborn.  In an interview, he said that he approached the track thinking, “I need to write the best love song of my career.”

There’s a lyric video to go with the song that you can watch on YouTube now. Ed will give the track its national U.S. TV debut on Monday on ABC’s Good Morning America.

Of course, “Shape of You” isn’t going away any time soon.  It’s just officially become the most-streamed track of all time on Spotify, with 1.318 billion streams.

Ed’s currently on a North American tour in support of Divide, and will play three nights at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center next week.
