ABC/Image Group LACardi B is shutting down rumors she’s recorded a track dissing Nicki Minaj.
The “I Like it” rapper posted a screen shot, since deleted, of text messages with a TMZ reporter asking about the diss track.
The reply from her representative states, “Cardi has no song coming about Nicki. So that’s false and so your story would [be] false.. Your sources are liars.”
Cardi also slammed TMZ for allegedly stalking her and her baby, Kulture.
In another since-deleted Instagram post, Cardi wrote, “You really pressed my button a couple of weeks ago when ya had photographers literally stalk me and my daughter when i clearly said repeatedly i don’t want to show my daughter.”
“With fame comes crazy people, stalkers and psychopaths, so i want to protect my child till I’m ready to show her to the world,” Cardi continued. “But NO integrity don’t matter to ya. Then ya constantly got me in ya blog spreading fake s**t about me without doing ya research and even when we tell ya is not true, ya still push it.”
The three-time American Music Award winner closed the message with an announcement about new music.
“My single “Money” drops OCTOBER 26!!” “Money” will be the follow-up to Cardi’s platinum single “Ring” featuring Kehlani.
The rapper is also discussing joining Fran Drescher in a potential reboot of Drescher’s 90s sitcom, The Nanny. After seeing Cardi wearing a cheetah-print ensemble — channeling her character in the series — Drescher said she wanted Cardi to portray her daughter.
“It’s really getting me excited,” the actress tells ExtraTV. “It’s fresh and it could be super fun.”
