The new song, “Keep on Movin’ On,” was written by songwriters who’ve penned material for Britney Spears, Elle King, Carrie Underwood and Weezer. It’ll be out October 26, the same day she’ll perform it for the first time on Live with Kelly & Ryan.
Maddie spent the summer on the American Idol Live tour with her boyfriend, runner-up Caleb Lee Hutchinson, and the rest of the season’s top seven. She’s currently working on her debut album.
The singer from Iowa is nominated in the People’s Choice Award category of Competition Contestant of 2018; winners will be announced November 11. She’ll also headline her first L.A. show November 13 at the legendary Hotel Café.
