L-R: Eric Dane and Adam Baldwin in “The Last Ship”; Doug Hyun/TNT(NEW YORK) — TNT delayed Sunday night’s scheduled third-season premiere of its drama The Last Ship, which includes a nightclub shooting, in the wake of the massacre in Orlando, Florida, earlier in the day.

“After the shootings in Orlando, tonight’s season premiere of The Last Ship is postponed,” the cable network said. “Our hearts are with the victims and their families.”

The Hollywood Reporter notes the episode includes a shooting at a Vietnamese nightclub that claims the lives of many people.

The shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando early Sunday resulted in the death of at least 50 people.

The Last Ship revolves around a global pandemic that wipes out 80 percent of the planet’s population.
