Walt Disney Studios(NEW YORK) — Disney has released the first teaser-trailer for its upcoming animated adventure, Moana, which stars Dwayne Johnson and newcomer Auli’i Cravalho.
Johnson, who’s of Pacific Island descent — as is Hawaiian Cravalho — voices Maui, a tattooed demigod who guides Cravalho’s Polynesian Princess Moana on a perilous ocean voyage to save her people.
Moana also features music from Hamilton creator — and newly minted Tony winner — Lin-Manuel Miranda. It sails into U.S. theaters November 23.
