Russell, 33, will plead guilty to attempted possession of a controlled substance, his lawyers told a Las Vegas judge Monday, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Under the terms of the plea deal, the gun charge would be stayed and Russell will avoid jail and serve three years’ probation. In addition, Russell must undergo counseling and forfeit all property seized by police at his home at the time of his March arrest. Items seized included 12 guns, a plastic bag containing marijuana, and a small quantity of methamphetamine.

If Russell completes his probation, the gun charge will be dismissed. If he does not do so, he could be found guilty of the weapon charge and face prison time.

Russell is due in court next week.

Police had visited Russell’s home to serve a warrant in connection with a sexual assault complaint. Prosecutors will not pursue additional charges in connection with the investigation.
