ABC/Randy Holmes(NEW YORK) — Kelly Ripa will return to her daytime talk show on Tuesday.
Ripa has not appeared on Live with Kelly and Michael since last Wednesday. It was announced the previous day that her co-host, Michael Strahan, is leaving Live later this year for a full-time role with ABC’s Good Morning America. Live is produced by ABC and airs after GMA in many markets.
A Live spokesperson said in a statement last week that Ripa would miss Friday and Monday’s shows due to a “previously-scheduled vacation.”
Actress Ana Gasteyer and Dancing with the Stars co-host Erin Andrews filled in for Ripa in her absence last week. Pretty Little Liars actress Shay Mitchell was the guest co-host Monday.
