(LOS ANGELES) — Jimmy Kimmel is staying on late night for at least a few more years.
ABC on Tuesday announced it has extended Kimmel’s contract for three years. The renewal keeps Jimmy Kimmel Live! on the air through at least the fall of 2019.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! is currently in its 14th season. In that time, it has been nominated for four Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Variety Series.
News of the extension came on the same day that Kimmel — who will host ABC’s broadcast of the Emmys in September — cracked jokes at the network’s upfront presentation in New York.
