(NEW YORK) — Nashville actress Hayden Panettiere, who spent time in rehab for postpartum depression, says she will continue to seek help.
Panettiere, 26, shared an update with fans on Twitter. “The postpartum depression I have been experiencing has impacted every aspect of my life,” she wrote. “Rather than stay stuck due to unhealthy coping mechanisms I have chosen to take time to reflect holistically on my health and life. Wish me luck!”
Panettiere entered rehab last October for postpartum depression, less than a year after she and her fiancé, boxer Wladimir Klitschko, welcomed a daughter, Kaya Evdokia.
Panettiere’s TV series, Nashville, was cancelled last week by ABC. Her character on that show, Juliette Barnes, has also suffered from postpartum depression.
