Macall B. Polay/courtesy of HBO(NEW YORK) —  Just how badly did people want to watch April 24th’s season premiere of HBO’s Game of Thrones? Apparently enough to curtail their primal urges — at least for an hour — according to one leading adult site.

PornHub crunched its user data for the night of the show’s season six premiere, and it revealed that the site’s user traffic across the United States dropped 4% while the hour-long premiere aired — while that might not seem like a lot, consider the streaming site has more than 60 million daily visitors, and the U.S. ranks as the number-one market.

The surfing resumed in the hours that followed to pre-premiere levels.

Other user data showed that naughty searches related to the series — whether it be porn parodies of the book-based HBO show or searches for the series’ frequent nude scenes — spiked 370% in the hours leading up to the premiere.
