Sunday’s episode was seen by 7.28 million people, and the fantasy drama is averaging 7.5 million for first-day viewings of episodes for the first three weeks of season six. That’s a series record, according to Variety.
Sunday’s episode was as much anticipated by fans as the season premiere, which ended with character Jon Snow’s literal return from the dead, shown only for a few seconds before the credits rolled.
