Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz; Gonzalez fuentes Oscar/Corbis via Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Married couple Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz will star in a film titled Escobar. It will revolve around the relationship between Colombian TV star Virginia Vallejo and notorious drug lord Pablo Escobar.
Also joining forces are Bryan Cranston and Mila Kunis, for an action-comedy titled Jackpot. Jennifer Garner is also in talks to join them, Deadline reports. The story follows a man who wakes up in a strip bar with a shotgun, surrounded by dead men and police guns aimed at him.
And not teaming up with anyone but still worth noting: Julia Roberts will star in a movie titled Wonder, playing the mother of a young boy born with a facial deformity, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Room actor Jacob Tremblay will play the boy in the movie, which is based on a novel by R.J. Palacio.
