Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images for Disney(LOS ANGELES) — There was a lot of love for the ladies Monday night at the Hollywood premiere for the new movie Alice Through The Looking Glass.
Anne Hathaway plays The White Queen. She likes that the movie has a strong message of female empowerment, while being eye candy.
“You know the Jessica Seinfeld brownie, you put the spinach in the brownie, you kind of fortify the yumminess? I’m proud to be in a film that has fortified yumminess,” she quipped.
Alice herself, Mia Wasikowska, describes her character as a cool person who has a strong sense of who she is. “She’s fantastic, I love playing her,” the Australian actress added.
Alice Through The Looking Glass opens Friday. It’s being released by Disney, the parent company of ABC News.
