Brandon Williams/Getty ImagesDemi Lovato wrapped up the North American leg of her Tell Me You Love Me tour last night in New Jersey. While fans loved the tour — of course — so did the singer’s #1 fan…her mom.
Demi’s mother, Dianna De La Garza, a former country singer, tells ABC Radio that it had been a while since she’d seen an entire concert by her daughter, but she got to do that on this tour, and was very impressed.
“I got to watch it just from beginning to end and it was just an amazing experience to see, I mean, the tour this year is so much different than the tours before because it’s just a huge production,” Dianna tells ABC Radio.
“Her vocals are amazing,” Dianna gushes. “I never hear a bad note.”
She laughs, “Maybe I just don’t hear it [’cause I’m her mom], but, I don’t hear one, ever. Yeah, it was a little overwhelming when I saw the show this time, because her tour has just reached such a level.”
Dianna wasn’t able to see every show on Demi’s tour because she’s been promoting her book Falling with Wings: A Mother’s Story.
Meanwhile, Demi and the Tell Me You Love Me tour move on to Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Ecuador later this month.
