ABC/Ida Mae Astute(NEW YORK) — Will Ferrell has played one Republican president. Now he’s set to play another.
Variety reports the comedic actor will portray Ronald Reagan in a film titled Reagan. The film will begin at the start of Reagan’s second term, when he falls into dementia and an intern must convince the former actor that he’s still an actor, playing the president in a movie.
Ferrell previously played President George W. Bush on Saturday Night Live and in the Broadway show You’re Welcome America.
