Showtime announced Tuesday that the comedy, starring Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell, will conclude with its current fifth season. The finale, airing June 12, was shot in Havana, Cuba.
Cheadle won a Golden Globe and has been nominated four times for an Emmy for his role as Marty Kaan, who leads a team of management consultants.
He tweeted Tuesday, “I will miss the show more than you know. But we all believe this was the best way to ‘go out.’ This season is one of our best.”

For her part, Bell tweeted, “Dear #HouseOfLies fans-We loved spending these 5 yrs w/you. Now sadly, like the great Doug Guggenhiem, we’ll all be ‘shutting the f*** up.’” She also tweeted a photo of her with her fellow cast members, adding, “Thank you to my beautiful boys for a fun filled 5 years. Love u terribly.”

Bell has already found a new gig: the NBC comedy The Good Place, co-starring Ted Danson, which premieres this fall.
