ABC/Ida Mae Astute(LOS ANGELES) — Boo! A Madea Halloween star Tyler Perry will apparently be trapped in a woman’s body once again.
Variety reports the actor-star-writer-prouducer has teamed with Korea’s largest entertainment conglomerate to produce an English-language remake of Korean hit film Miss Granny.
The movie’s a body-swap romantic comedy featuring a 70-year-old woman who transforms into a young woman in her 20s.
The film is set for a 2018 release.
Meanwhile, Perry’s hit Halloween-themed Madea movie, which started out as an in-joke in the Chris Rock movie Top Five, is hanging tough at the box office, still in the top four over this past weekend with a take of $7.8 million.
