Mike Marsland/WireImage(NEW YORK) — If a picture is worth a thousand words, then this Instagram post from actor and comic Russell Brand certainly did a lot of talking.
The photo confirmed that the 41-year-old and his girlfriend, Laura Gallacher, are expecting a child, a rumor that’s been circulating since the beginning of the summer.
In the selfie, Brand’s holding up a copy of The Expectant Dad’s Handbook, with his eyes peeking over the top of the pages.
The caption reads, “Right then. My Mum bought me this. Time to get ready!”
Brand and Gallacher have been dating on and off since 2007, and reportedly began dating again most recently in 2015.
