Erica Hernandez Following her breakout success with "Drivers License," Olivia Rodrigo is not pumping the brakes on her career anytime soon. In fact, she has a brand new single that's coming out this week.
Rodrigo, who recently turned 18, finally revealed why she wiped her Instagram account clean before dropping hints that something big was on the horizon.
As it turns out — it is brand new music in the form of her followup single, "Deja Vu."
"My new song deja vu is out Thursday at 9am pst," the teen singer shared across her socials and also posted a trippy snippet of the single's official artwork.
While Thursday also happens to coincide with April 1, Rodrigo promised, "I promise it’s not an April fools joke lol."
The High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star started off 2021 with a bang, dropping her massively successful debut single "Drivers License" on January 4.
The song parked itself in the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for its first eight weeks and, currently, idles in the number three spot behind Silk Sonic's "Leave The Door Open" and Cardi B's "Up," respectively.
While Rodrigo has yet to announce an album, "Deja Vu" will suffice — for now. Fans can presave the song now on her official website.
