Saeed Adyani/Netflix(LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA) — Netflix has announced that its anticipated reboot, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, will premiere globally on the streaming service November 25, 2016 at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time.
For you bingers, A Year In The Life is composed of four 90-minute chapters spanning each of the four seasons.
A new sneak peek shows stars Lauren Graham’s Lorelai and Alexis Biedel’s Rory at their kitchen table, chatting in the show’s trademark rapid-fire pace, with Lorelai wondering aloud if Amy Schumer would like her.
“No,” Rory says flatly, before betraying more evidence that time has passed since the show’s end in 2007 and flipping out her cellphone to Google a reference her mom makes in her own defense regarding a possible friendship with the approachable Trainwreck star.
“Water sports,” she tells her mom. Every time I see her in a magazine she’s on vacation doing water sports.”
“Ugh. No. That would not work at all,” Graham agrees.
“Once a Gilmore, always a Gilmore,” a title card then reads.
“Do you think Jon Oliver would find me hot?” Graham then asks.
