Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan on “The Walking Dead”; Gene Page/AMC(NEW YORK) — The Walking Dead won’t be back until the fall, but here’s some news to tide you over.
Four Walking Dead stars have been bumped to series regulars: Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Tom Payne, Austin Amelio and Xander Berkeley, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Morgan was introduced as the villainous Negan in last season’s finale, a major character in the comics series on which the show is based. Payne plays Jesus, Amelio plays Dwight, and Berkeley plays Gregory.
The Walking Dead returns for a seventh season on AMC in October.
