"'Heart Shaped Box' is my favorite [Nirvana] song," Fraites says. "I used to listen to this song in the car while riding to middle school with my mom. It has one of the strongest melodies ever written. I did my best to honor it."

Fraites "Heart-Shaped Box" cover is available now for digital download. It'll also appear on his upcoming EP Piano Piano (Acoustic), due out April 16. He released his debut solo album, Piano Piano, this past January.

In related news, a project called Lost Tapes of the 27 Club has released a song called "Drowned in the Sun," which was created by AI to sound like a new Nirvana track. For more info, you can visit LostTapesofthe27Club.com.
