John Fogerty, Don Felder among stars taking part in virtual fundraiser for frontline workers’ children tonight

Myriam Santos; Michael HelmsA star-studded list of musicians and other celebrities, including John Fogerty, ex-Eagles guitarist Don Felder and REO Speedwagon's Kevin Cronin will participate in a virtual charity fundraiser scheduled to take place tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET.

The event, dubbed The Charity Pro's for Heroes Virtual Fundraiser 2021, is a free event that will raise money for the Megan's Wish Program and the Charity Pro's Scholarship Fund providing educational scholarships for children of frontline health workers and first responders who have died because of complications from the COVID-19 virus.

The event's lineup also features Foreigner singer Kelly Hansen, Ziggy Marley, Rosanne Cash, Lance Bass, Mel Gibson and many others. The various stars will be featured delivering live or recorded messages, public service announcements, performances and more.

Fogerty will be performing with his family group, Fogerty's Factory, which also features his sons Shane and Tyler, and his daughter Kelsy.

The virtual fundraiser will be streamed live at The Charity Pro's YouTube channel and Facebook page.
