Emma McIntyre/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Thnk you’re too old to get bodybuilder-fit? Photos of Oscar-winning actor J.K. Simmons working out at the gym have surfaced online, and they ought to put that idea to rest right away.
“Every time we train together I forget he’s 61 years old. So much respect for this guy. #JKSimmons #OldManCranking,” his trainer Aaron Williamson writes as part of an Instagram post showing bald and bearded Simmons doing dumbbell curls, biceps bulging, looking for all the world like a superhero himself.
Simmons, who’s also known as Professor Nathaniel Burke (yes, he’s got a name) in those Farmers Insurance TV commercials, is getting ready for his role as Commissioner Gordon in 2017’s Justice League.
