(LOS ANGELES) — Owen Wilson is in negotiations to join Julia Roberts in Wonder, an adaptation of the R.J. Palacio YA novel, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Child actor Jacob Tremblay, who had a breakout performance in Room opposite Brie Larson, will star in the film as Auggie Pullman, a young boy who was born with a facial deformity. Wilson would play the boy’s father and Roberts will play his mother.
Fault in Our Stars and Divergent series actor Ansel Elgort is in early talks to star in Dungeons & Dragons, also according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film is based on the classic role-playing game.
And Will & Grace’s Megan Mullally and Fresh off the Boat’s Constance Wu have been cast in Hulu’s upcoming sci-fi anthology series Dimension 404, reports Variety. Mullally and Wu join previously announced cast members including Lea Michele, Robert Buckley, Ryan Lee, Sarah Hyland, Joel McHale, Ashley Rickards and Patton Oswalt.
