ABC/Mitch Haaseth(LOS ANGELES) — Ellen Pompeo, who plays Grey’s Anatomy’s titular character Doctor Meredith Grey, has inked a new deal to return for the hit medical drama’s upcoming season, according to Variety.
The 46-year-old actress had previously signed a two-year contract back in 2014, which expired at the end of this season. She reportedly is making more than 300 thousand dollars per episode.
Pompeo is one of the show’s last remaining original cast members, along with Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson, Kevin McKidd and James Pickens, Jr.
Grey’s Anatomy returns for its 13th season next fall on ABC.
