Paul Archuleta/FilmMagic(NEW YORK) — Former Grey’s Anatomy star T.R. Knight is re-teaming with that show’s creator, Shonda Rhimes, for season two of her ABC caper show The Catch.

Knight, who confirmed the news via his Instagram account, will reportedly play a recurring role on the series.

“This has been a thrilling secret to keep!” Rhimes said in a statement. “One of my favorite family members is home!”

In 2007, Knight was at the center of an on-set verbal fight with then-Grey‘s co-star Isiah Washington, who reportedly called him a gay slur. The incident got Washington fired from the show, and allegedly forced Knight to publicly acknowledge that he’s gay — something he hadn’t made public up until that point.

Knight has since had regular roles on The Good Wife and the Hulu series 11.22.63.
