CBS Photo Archive/Getty Image(NEW YORK) — Diane, take a memo: the full cast of the Twin Peaks revival series coming to Showtime. And there are quite a few people in it.
How many? According to Variety, 217 in all. The trade publication has posted an image of the full cast list. It’s in alphabetical order, so you’ve got to hunt for names you recognize. But they’re there, and the names of the folks who’ve previously appeared in the series are thoughtfully marked with an asterisk.
We count 37 returning cast members, with lots of intriguing new names, like Tim Roth, Ashley Judd, Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor, Skyfall Bond girl Berenice Marlohe, Spectre Bond girl Monica Bellucci, Jim Belushi, Laura Dern, Tom Sizemore, Naomi Watts and many, many others. Some of the names have already been revealed over the past few months, but this is the first time we’ve seen them all in one place.
Kyle MacLachlan returns as Agent Dale Cooper, as do original case members Sheryl Lee, Sherilyn Fenn, Mädchen Amick and others.
Twin Peaks co-creator and director David Lynch will direct the new series, which is expected to debut on Showtime early next year.
