Maisie Music Publishing/Sony Music EntertainmentLast month, it was revealed that Anthrax's Scott Ian and ex-Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo were writing original music for the upcoming Netflix superhero comedy Thunder Force. Turns out, they're not the only rockers taking part in the project.
Along with the two thrash legends, the Thunder Force soundtrack will feature Corey Taylor and Lzzy Hale, who provide vocals on the song "Thunder Force." The track finds the Slipknot and Halestorm singers declaring "Thunder Force! Thunder Force!/Just fight back when your life is torn asunder" over Ian and Lombardo's heavy guitars and drums.
You can listen to "Thunder Force" now via digital platforms. It also features film composer Fil Eisler and metal cellist Tina Guo.
The film Thunder Force, which stars Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer, premieres on Netflix April 9.
