Ayron Jones details debut album, ‘Child of the State’; listen to new song “Spinning...

It includes the Seattle rocker's previously released singles "Take Me Away" and "Mercy." "The best gifts are the ones that we can share with the people we love and hold nearest to our hearts," Jones says of the album. "This is my gift from God, and the moment has finally arrived for me to share it with you." Jones has also released another new Child of the State song, "Spinning Circles," which sounds a bit like a mix between Nirvana's "Heart-Shaped Box" and Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun." The non-profit organization helps military veterans process PTSD and other mental health struggles through the power of music. Luke will appear in a special tribute to the program, ahead of his performance at the ACM Awards show itself. The tribute features a number of last year’s veteran participants, including Damon Williams, who lends his original song, “It’s Alright,” to the tribute. Additionally, Ford recently donated $500,000 to Guitars 4 Vets chapters around the country, helping the organization expand its nationwide mission of serving veterans through free guitar instruction, acoustic instruments and more. In a message posted on CheapTrick.com, Tom, who turns 71 next month, explains, "I had to have open heart surgery a month ago and I'm under doctor's orders to take it easy. Deadline reports the 40-year-old singer/actor has been tapped to play Gong Show host Chuck Barris for an as-yet-untitled hour-long drama series. The show will be based on Barris’ 1984 memoir Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, in which he claimed his job as a game show creator and host in the ‘60s and ‘70s was just a front for his real job as a CIA assassin. Barris created such game show classics as The Dating Game and The Newlywed Game. The book was previously made into a 2002 film of the same name that was directed by George Clooney and starred Sam Rockwell as Barris. The bouncy tune, which is available now for digital download, was inspired by the "Trampoline" trio's trip to Japan in 2019 to play the Summer Sonic festival. "We spent two glorious weeks hopping around the island and playing massive festivals in Tokyo and Osaka," SHAED says. "We fell in love with the culture, landscape, food and people, and had the best time of our lives. We left Japan with a confidence we never knew existed within ourselves. 'Osaka' is an expression of that feeling." High Dive will be released May 14.
