(LOS ANGELES) — Amy Schumer’s movie comedy Trainwreck did better than OK. Now we’ll see if she can do as well or better with her sophomore big-screen starring effort.
The actress and comic will star in the bachelor comedy Who Invited Her? According to The Hollywood Reporter. The film will be co-produced by Schumer and her sister Kim Caramele, who’s also a producer on Schumer’s hit Comedy Central series, Inside Amy Schumer. Tami Sagher, a writer from the show, will rewrite the script, focusing on an overbearing woman who forces her way into her male best friend’s bachelor party weekend.
Trainwreck, which Shumer wrote and in which she starred, opened last July and earned just shy of $141 million worldwide. She’s currently working on an as-yet untitled mother-daughter comedy with Goldie Hawn.
