Jeffrey Tambour in “Transparent”; Amazon(NEW YORK) — Amazon has announced premiere dates for a number of its series, including the critically acclaimed show Transparent, the third season of which will be released September 23.
Woody Allen’s Crisis in Six Scenes, starring Allen and Miley Cyrus, debuts September 30; it’s set in the 1960s and follows a middle class suburban family who “is visited by a guest who turns their household completely upside down.”
Other dates to remember: One Mississippi, a “traumedy” inspired by the life of comedian Tig Notaro, launches September 9; the legal series Goliath, with Billy Bob Thornton, debuts October 14; and the Golden Globe-winning series Mozart in the Jungle returns for season three on December 9.
