(NEW YORK) — This weekend, the Will Smith-fronted Muhammad Ali biopic will be back on the big screen.
According to Variety, the Michael Mann-directed Ali will return to theaters for a limited release in memory of the late boxing legend and civil rights activist, who died June 3.
Released in 2001, the Sony Pictures film featured an all-star cast including Jada Pinkett-Smith, Jamie Foxx, Jon Voight, Mario Van Peebles, Nona Gaye, Joe Morton, Jeffrey Wright, Paul Rodriguez, Michael Michelle and LeVar Burton, among many others.
The movie grossed $87 million dollars at the box office and garnered Smith his first Best Actor Oscar nomination.
