Interscope RecordsZedd and Alessia Cara hit the rewind button for their new “Stay” music video.
The clip features the two artists playing out a Groundhog Day-like scenario. It starts with Zedd just missing getting into an elevator with Alessia and the two spending the day separately. Then, the scene keeps rewinding until Zedd finally catches the elevator.
The two start chatting and spend a fun day enjoying time together at a diner and driving to the beach. But as they’re heading back for the day, things end in tragedy — until everything rewinds again.
Alessia explained the concept on Twitter, writing that the video “shows how one tiny moment can change everything / every second counts.”
Zedd and Alessia first released the song and a lyric video back in February.
