ABC/Eric McCandlessAs Ada Vox works towards her dream of becoming the next American Idol, the drag queen had another dream come true today.

Ada got an endorsement from her idol RuPaul on Twitter. Ada, whose birth name is Adam Sanders, performs in drag on the show and caught the attention of rag icon Ru following her performance on last night’s Idol of Queen’s “The Show Must Go On.”

“SHANTAY, you slay,” Ru tweeted under a photo of Ada, using the famous RuPaul’s Drag Race catchphrase. “XORU,” Ru signed the tweet.

Ada previously caught the attention of RuPaul’s Drag Race judge Michelle Visage. After Ada’s duet on “Defying Gravity” with Lea Michele last week, Visage tweeted, “My glam team and I want to give you the makeover of life for American Idol finals. YOU INSPIRE US ALL.”

Ada responded, “Ummmm #Duh please and thank you… I just died a little inside…”

Ada has yet to respond to Ru’s tweet, but previously told TMZ that it would be amazing if she got a shoutout from RuPaul.
