The Weinstein Company is already feeling the heat … a major film financier has pulled the plug on a massive loan because Harvey’s no longer steering the ship. AI International Holdings fronted a $45 million loan to TWC last year. We’ve learned AI sent a letter to TWC and their lawyers at O’Melveny & Myers Tuesday, demanding that the money be returned pronto.
AI says in its letter, “The dismissal of Harvey Weinstein from his position as co-chairman” constitutes a “material adverse change” … allowing them to demand immediate repayment of the loan.
Kim hired Allison Hart at high-powered law firm Lavely & Singer, and it didn’t take long for them to fire off a super-threatening demand letter. The letter was triggered by a video Brielle shot which appears to show roaches crawling on NeNe’s bathroom floor. The letter, obtained by TMZ, references some choice comments NeNe made on social media, including, “Kim & her child did something very wrong & disgusting! Black people and roaches in the same sentence don’t work for me boo.” She then went on to call Brielle “#racisttrash” and “#KKK,” adding, “Kim & her daughter oops whole family are racists!”
Glamour magazine claims E L James has written a new Fifty Shades book titled “Darker.” It’s the retelling of the Fifty Shades story from Christian’s point of view. James says; “The inside of Christian’s head is a pretty daunting place to be. Writing Darker offered me new insights into his character and motivations, and I hope readers find those insights as compelling as I did.”
Naughty Gossip claims Kim Cattrall could write a tell-all book about Sex and the City. A source tells the site: “Kim is sick of Sarah and her friends all trashing her. She is ready to tell-all and SJP needs to be scared. Kim has all the dirt on Sarah. Everything from her mean girl tricks to making sure she made all the money from the TV show and film. Kim has finally had enough.”
Mark Hamill tells Contact Music that fans are going to love Carrie Fisher in The Last Jedi. He is quoted as saying: “You’re going to really love her in [The Last Jedi]. I know they’re going to try and find a way to close her story in [Episode IX] that gives her the respect she deserves, because [Han Solo] was more prominent in [The Force Awakens], Luke’s a little more prominent in [The Last Jedi], and certainly Leia was meant to be more prominent in [Episode IX]. Worldwide, everyone feels that gap she left, but we all have to hang in there.”
Us Weekly claims Justin Bieber recently asked Adam Sandler and David Spade for acting advice. A source tells the magazine; “Justin Bieber asked Adam Sandler and David Spade out to dinner to pick their brains about breaking into the film industry. They had a great time! Justin had a lot of questions for them about the movie world. He is trying to educate himself about the industry and learn more about it. He wants to break into acting and directing/producing.”
Life & Style Weekly Magazine, citing The Blast, claims Rachel Bilson dumped Hayden Christensen after she found text messages between him and Emma Roberts. Emma and Hayden filmed a movie together called Little Italy.
TMZ claims Nelly’s rape accuser says he and his lawyer are trying to bully her. The victim’s attorney released a letter that reads; “It is morally reprehensible for an accused person and his bully lawyer to issue derogatory and defamatory statements against a young alleged rape victim. It is also criminal — in the State of Washington — when those vicious attacks are issued in the form of threats.”
Ace Showbiz claims Bachelor star Nick Viall is going to star on the ABC comedy Speechless. He’ll play Tyson “a hunky B-movie actor who takes his craft way too seriously.” The episode will air in November.
Female First claims Cindy Crawford may get her own reality series. A source tells the National Enquirer that it would follow her family. “Reality TV’s most famous clan, the Kardashians, may be celebrating their 10-year anniversary on E!, but spies said the network is looking for a family to replace them, and have set their sights on Cindy Crawford and her crew.”
Glamour magazine claims Dakota Johnson and John Hamm recently went on a wine date. A source tells Page Six that the date lasted two hours. “They seemed to really be enjoying each other’s company.”
The Sun claims Conor McGregor may appear at an upcoming WWE event. A source tells the paper: “Conor is a huge wrestling fan. His entire persona on stage he has developed from watching performers like Ric Flair and The Rock. These are the top dogs at self-promotion and trash talk. He watched these guys when he was younger. This is something he’s always wanted to do. The WWE guys have asked him to do shows before with them but the timing was never really right. But this time it looks like a deal is going to be locked into place.”
