Peter LindberghThe music video for Lady Gaga’s emotional A Star Is Born ballad, “I’ll Never Love Again,” has arrived.
The clip, available on Apple Music, features scenes from Gaga’s climactic performance of the song in the film, as well as scenes from the love story between her character, Ally, and Bradley Cooper’s Jackson.
Gaga previously told Entertainment Weekly that she filmed the “I’ll Never Love Again” scene at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles the same day her best friend, Sonja Durham, died of cancer.
“When I came back [to set], Bradley was so gentle with me and we got through it,” she said. “I performed the song. He was like, ‘You don’t have to do it again. It’s okay.’ All I wanted to do was sing. I’ll never forget that day. It was really a special scene, and I’ll always remember that moment.”
Gaga co-wrote the song with her “Million Reasons” collaborator Hillary Lindsey.
