Warner Bros. is going back to the “Chocolate Factory”

Spencer Platt/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) — A third film reboot of Roald Dahl’s classic children’s book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is in the works at Warner Brothers.

Paul King, who directed the successful and acclaimed Paddington movies, in talks to helm, according to Variety.

The book, first published in 1964, centers on 11-year-old Charlie Bucket, who is among five kids invited on a tour of eccentric chocolatier Willy Wonka’s factory after finding a golden ticket in a Wonka Bar.

Gene Wilder portrayed Wonka in the 1971 film adaptation titled Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, while Johnny Depp played him in the 2005 adaptation, titled Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
