Ali Caldwell on “The Voice: Trae Patton/NBC(LOS ANGELES) — On Tuesday’s episode of The Voice, the eight artists who performed Monday learned that Team Miley Cyrus’ Aaron Gibson and Ali Caldwell, Team Adam Levine’s Brendan Fletcher, and Team Alicia Keys’ Christian Cuevas were sent home.
Christian, Ali and Josh lost an “Instant Save” vote to Team Adam member Josh Gallagher.
Prior to the vote, Christian, Ali and Josh sang for an opportunity to be saved by the viewers. Christian covered “I Can’t Make You Love Me,” by Bonnie Raitt; Ali sang “Sledgehammer,” by Rihanna; and Josh performed “I Drive Your Truck,” by Lee Brice.
There are now four artists remaining in the competition: Billy Gilman joins Gallagher as Team Adam’s two remaining members, along with Team Alicia’s Wé McDonald and Team Blake Shelton’s Sundance Head. There are no artists left on Team Miley.
The evening also included OneRepublic performing their song “Let’s Hurt Tonight.” The Voice season 10 finalist Hannah Huston also sang her new single, “I Alone Have Loved You” and Shelton performed his latest single, “A Guy with a Girl.”
The Voice returns Monday night at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
