NBC/Trae Patton(LOS ANGELES) — The Voice kicked off its final week of blind auditions Monday night.

Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson were back in their spinning chairs, putting the finishing touches on their teams, with Adam landing the night’s biggest artist.

Nashville’s Chloe Kohanski, 23, is a coffee shop singer and a huge Miley Cyrus fan. Her husky-voiced cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain” convinced Miley, Blake and Jennifer to turn their chairs around. Jennifer loved the singer’s “sassy” style, adding that Kohanski’s “vibe was so cool, it made me just want to be your friend.” Miley pointed to their mutual love for Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks, as well as their similar vocal range and strong sense of who they are. Predictably, Chloe she chose Team Miley.

Dennis Drummond is a six-foot-eight blues singer who moved from Warren, Ohio to Nashville, where he met Voice season-10 finalist Adam Wakefield, who urged him to audition. Dennis’ performance of The Black Crowes’ “She Talks to Angels” immediately got Adam to turn around, followed by Blake. Adam praised Drummond’s originality. Blake loved that Dennis was a “Nashville guy” He chose Wakefield’s former coach Blake Shelton.

Ignatious Carmouche earned his shot at auditioning for the coaches by winning last season’s “The Voice on Snapchat” competition. Ignatious, who grew up singing in church, performed “Latch,” by Disclosure featuring Sam Smith, convincing Jennifer and Blake to turn their chairs around. Jennifer said she felt like he was “singing to my heart,” adding that he sounded like a “saxophone with words.” Blake was floored by Caramouche’s “pitch-perfect falsetto.” Hudson’s pitch, with some additional coaxing from Adam Levine, landed the artist for her team.

Violin teacher Brandon Brown tested his vocal chops on the Ray Charles classic “Georgia on My Mind.” Adam, Blake and Jennifer turned around, touching off a heated battle. Adam praised Brandon’s “old-school” style. Jennifer compared Brown to Donnie Hathaway, adding that his retro soul doesn’t have a platform today, and she’d like to give that to him. Brown shocked everyone by picking Adam.

John Mero, who was inspired to sing by listening to Whitney Houston, currently sings in a corporate band. His cover of “Versace on the Floor” by Bruno Mars got all four coaches to turn their chairs. Adam compared the “charismatic” artist to Prince. Jennifer declared he “owned the moment.” Blake called the singer “incredible.” Miley argued that her passion would get him to the finals, insisting that she’s determined to win. Adam won the battle and claimed Mero for his team.

The Voice blind auditions conclude Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
