Kevin Mazur/Getty Images via ABCThe Chainsmokers will be paying tribute to the King of Pop and the Princess of Pop at a special one-night-only show at L.A.’s Hollywood Palladium on July 24.
The “Something Just Like This” duo are teaming up with Pepsi for the show, which is part of the brand’s Pepsi Generations Summer Music Campaign. In addition to their own hits, The Chainsmokers will welcome surprise guests and perform what’s described as “re-imagined versions of songs from Pepsi’s biggest music icons.”
Given that those icons include Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and Ray Charles — all of whom starred in Pepsi commercials — we’ve got to assume that the duo will be performing songs by them.
Tickets to the show are on sale now via LiveNation.com, but if you can’t make it, the show will be live-streamed on Pepsi’s Twitter page.
