Mert & Marcus/BMLGTaylor Swift‘s gearing up to release a new album, which means it’s time for her to start blowing her fans’ minds by orchestrating surprise personal interactions with them. For her album 1989, she invited fans to her house and baked them cookies. This time, it appears as though she’s bringing the party to them.
A week ago, a young British Swiftie named Lara noticed that Taylor was watching her Instagram live feed. On Wednesday, Taylor herself dropped by Lara’s house.
In an emotional Instagram video, Lara revealed that she’d been contacted by a Taylor fan site and told that the singer would be sending her a package — which is, we assume, how they got her address. Taylor then took it one step further, and showed up to deliver the “package” in person.
Lara documented the visit in a photo collage of selfies with the star on Instagram, which she captioned, in part, “OKAY, I JUST MET THE WOMAN WHO MADE AN IMPACT ON MY LIFE AND [JUST] CANNOT BREATHE.”
Lara also wrote that Taylor “B[R]OUGHT BAGS OF MERCH” for her, and posted a photo of herself wearing one of the gifts. “I’M HONESTLY IN LOVE,” she captioned the photo. “LOVE YOU BUDDY!! @taylorswift.“
Knowing Taylor, this is likely just the first of many surprise pop-ins. Stay tuned.
