She says one reason she wanted to be a part of the company is because the sunglasses are so affordable, she can just give them away to her fans.
Speaking to Billboard, Hailee says, “I love that [this brand] is accessible to anyone and everyone around the world. I feel like I can wear these sunglasses and feel just as great as when I’m wearing a pair that are five times the price.”
She adds, “And when I’m onstage at a concert in middle America, I can offer them to the people in front of me.”
So the next time you see Hailee perform live, try to get up front and score a free pair of the specs, which just debuted on Amazon on June 2. In addition to Hailee, Jamie Foxx, Jeremy Piven and Ashley Benson are all investors in the brand.
In addition to her business ventures, Hailee is also starring in the upcoming Transformers prequel, Bumblebee, and promoting her current single “Most Girls.” She tells Billboard that a new single “should be out very soon.”
“I feel like I’m just getting started, and 10 years from now I will still feel like I am just getting started,” she says of her music career. “This is me and this is where I stand and what I want to do.”
“I’m very excited for everybody to hear what’s coming, because even that is very different from what I’m doing now. It’s a constant evolution.”
