John Shearer/Getty Images via ABCThe first-ever NBA Awards will feature another Young Money artist onstage: Nicki Minaj. The rapper will perform during the event, which Drake is hosting, on June 26.
Taking place at Pier 36’s Basketball City facility in New York, the ceremony will honor a number of the league’s top players and leaders with awards such as NBA Most Valuable Player, NBA Rookie of the Year, NBA Most Improved Player and NBA Coach of the Year.
In addition, fans can vote for their favorite NBA player in six other categories: Best Style, Block of the Year, Game Winner of the Year, Assist of the Year, Dunk of the Year and Performance of the Year.
The NBA Awards airs Monday, June 26 on TNT, with coverage of the event starting at 9 p.m. ET. You can read the full list of nominees on nba.com.
