(LOS ANGELES) — The second Charles in Charge co-star to accuse Scott Baio of sexual abuse will be holding a press conference today detailing his claims.
Former child star Alexander Polinsky first went public with accusations of physical and mental abuse last week. in a statement read on The Talk. Now, he’ll speak out for the first time about the sexual harassment and abuse he claims to have endured by Baio on the set of the 1980s sitcom.
Baio’s other accuser, Nicole Eggert, will also be attending the press conference to give a brief statement. Both Polinsky and Eggert are being represented by attorney Lisa Bloom, who will speak at the press conference as well. The conference is set to take place at 12:30 p.m. ET.
Eggert has claimed Baio sexually abused her when she was a minor. Polinksy supported her claims, saying he witnessed Baio behaving inappropriately to her on set. Polinsky played Adam Powell on Charles in Charge from the ages of 11 to 15.
