ABC/Paula LoboCamila Cabello is going a little bit country.
Variety reports the singer has teamed up with chart-topping country star Kane Brown for a duet version of her tune, “Never Be the Same.”
Camila hinted at the collab on Twitter, writing, “i. HAVE. A SURPRISE. FOR YOU. THIS WEEK.” Kane replied with two flame emojis.
The duet will reportedly drop this Friday. It follows other recent pop-country mash-ups, including “The Middle” by Zedd and Maren Morris and “Meant to Be” by Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line.
Earlier this year, country stars Keith Urban and Kelsea Ballerini acknowledged how country-sounding “Never Be the Same” is by duetting on the song during a Facebook Live session announcing Keith’s upcoming tour.
