Disney Channel(NEW YORK) — Raven-Symoné has announced she’s leaving The View later this season to executive produce and star in a That’s So Raven spinoff.

The actress made the announcement while live on The View Thursday, telling her co-hosts, “I’m gonna be leaving…before the year is up… And I’ve had such a great time, I just want to say, I’ve been on this panel with multiple females, I’ve had wonderful times with you.”

She then thanked what she called her “men in black,” who work behind the scenes at the talk show.

Symoné is scheduled to relocate from New York City to Los Angeles for the revamped series, where she will reprise her role as the psychic Raven Baxter. In the spinoff, Raven will play a newly-divorced mother raising two pre-teen kids, one of whom has inherited her ability to catch glimpses of the future.

Symoné’s starred on That’s So Raven from 2003 to 2007, when she was a teenager. Her final day on The View has not yet been announced.

With Raven’s exit, the co-host table now includes Good Morning America weekend anchor Sara Hines, who was added in August, plus moderator Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Candace Cameron Bureand Paula Faris.
