* Proud Mary — Taraji P. Henson plays Mary — a hitwoman working for an organized crime family in Boston, whose life is completely turned around after crossing paths with a young boy during a botched hit job. Rated R.
* The Post — Steven Spielberg’s historical drama, expanding to wide release — is about Katharine Graham, the first female newspaper publisher — played by Meryl Streep — who, along with legendary Washington Post editor Ben Bradlee — portrayed by Tom Hanks — risks her career and freedom to expose a scandal. Also starring Sarah Paulson and Bradley Whitford. Rated PG-13.
* Paddington 2 — The animated series picks up with Paddington — voiced by Ben Whishaw — taking a series of odd jobs to buy a gift for his Aunt Lucy’s 100th birthday, only to have it stolen. Hugh Grant and The Shape of Water‘s Sally Hawkins provide additional voices. Rated PG.
* The Commuter — During his daily commute home, a businessman — played by Liam Neeson — is caught up in a criminal conspiracy. Sam Neil co-stars. Rated PG-13.
